Lottery grant to provide new doors for the Community Centre

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a grant by the National Lottery to provide new doors for the Community Centre.

Thanks also to support from Colden Common Parish Council, the new automatic doors will fitted at the front entrance of the Community Centre.

This will be done between Tuesday 15 February and Thursday 17 February, so there will be no front access to the Centre during this time. Signage will indicate the temporary access to the building.

Health and Wellbeing Show 2020

Unfortunately, Covid restrictions meant the Health and Wellbeing show had to be cancelled. We hope to be able to hold the event in 2022.

Colden Common celebrates new sponsor during Village Halls Week

Colden Common Community Centre is taking advantage of Village Halls Week 2020, to announce its new sponsor, Winchester Bourne Limited, a local company which provides business accounting services to companies.

Organised by the ACRE Network, Village Halls Week runs from 20 to 25 January and visitors to Colden Common Community Centre will be able to enjoy a free game of table tennis every day at specific times and see the Centre in action. The Centre is also hosting an open day and community lunch on Saturday 25 January to enable the local community to get together with fellow villagers and see what goes on in the centre.

Visitors will also be able to meet our local MP, Steve Brine, as well as representatives of some of the local groups and organisations.
